The sports and recreational area is located in the foothills of the Iron Mountains. It is a part of the local part of Heřmanův Městec called Konopáč in the Pardubice Region. The centre of the area is a natural swimming pool with a picturesque island and a toboggan, the origin of which is recorded from the beginning of the 20th century. In 1932-35, the area was modernised and after 1968 it was converted into an existing campsite.
