The town of Polička offers a lot of interesting locations for filmmakers. The most significant monument is the gothic town walls which encircle the historic core of the town with a length of 1220m, 19 towers and a patrol path partly open to the public.
The historic centre of Polička is made of a square with a baroque town-hall and a plague column in the middle. A number of originally gothic burgher houses were rebuilt in the renaissance, baroque or classicism styles. Not far from the square, there is the neo-gothic St James’s Church with the native flat of composer Bohuslav Martinů situated in the church’s spire.
Tyl House – has a main hall with 407 seats, central and side balconies, a small hall, a bar and a theatre club.
