Pardubice Airport is located on the southwestern outskirts of Pardubice near the Popkovice district, where it is adjacent to the racecourse. Pardubice is mainly associated with air transport thanks to the youngest international airport in the Czech Republic. In June 2016, the construction of a modern terminal was launched, which increased passenger comfort, improved and accelerated the services offered to airlines. The total size of the new terminal building is 160.0 x 46.0 m and the built-up area is approximately 6,120 m2.
